| | Junior Livestock Auction Date: Saturday, September 11th Time: 8:30 am Social/Brunch Hour in Barn Area 10 am Auction Begins
The Livestock Auction at the Fair has been developed to educate the exhibitors in livestock marketing. The sale is made up of the market animals that have been shown in the livestock divisions of the Fair. These animals are owned, raised, fed and shown by 4-H, FFA, and independent exhibitors. They have been judged by knowledgeable people and placed according to the market grades for the Auction sale order. By supporting this Junior Auction you are contributing to the education of today's youth, the citizens of tomorrow. | |
|
| | Are you interested in purchasing an animal? Want to know how to become a buyer? Just let us know! We will send each prospective buyer a credential for admission to the Fair. Once you arrive just register at the Sale Ring to receive your Buyer's number and Sale Order Catalog. Find an animal you like, raise up your number and away you go!!
If you are the highest bidder you will be asked to sign a sales slip and select one of two methods for disposition of your animal.- Have the animal processed, cat and wrapped for freezing
- Consign the animal to a commercial packer for resale at market price. You will be billed the difference between the Auction price and market price.
